French composer Olivier Messiaen wrote and first performed this chamber music piece in 1941 while captured in a German prisoner-of-war camp. With Erin Aldrige (violin), Byron Klimek (cello), Ted Schoen (clarinet) and Teresa Vaughan (piano).
